Exeter Golf & Country Club
This prestigious resort in the centre of Exeter is widely regarding as offering some of the best golf in the South West. Exeter Golf & Country Club, which was founded back in 1929, is the oldest golf club in East Devon. The James Braid-designed, par-69 parkland course measures 6,023 yards and has a number of holes that will catch you out if you are slightly wayward with your tee shot or your approach. Shooting a good score around here is easier said than done.

Situated within a nature reserve on a spit of land in the mouth of the Exe estuary, the course is as challenging as it is beautiful. It has 18 of the finest greens in the South West and breathtaking views to make your day memorable. On the back nine, 14, 15 and 16 offer particularly spectacular vistas as they run alongside the marshland and coastline.

This 18-hole golf course is set in 90 acres of parkland in Mid Devon and will challenge both the low and high handicapper alike. Stover Golf Club
One of the best parkland courses in the south west, Stover Golf Club features a wide variety of holes, with elevation change, mature trees, streams and picturesque ponds. Located on the edge of Newton Abbott, this par-69 course provides two very different challenges on its front and back nine. Holes 1-9 vaunt wide fairways, but with plenty of trees, bunkers and deep rough, while the back nine is narrower and requires greater accuracy from the tee.
