Site of Team Europe’s 2010 triumph over the USA, Celtic Manor has well and truly earned it’s place as one of the UK’s greatest golf venues. The Montgomerie, a dramatic par-69 course was designed by Ryder Cup legend Colin Montgomerie, while the Twenty Ten course was specifically built to host the 2010 tournament.

Cottrell Park Golf Resort

Peterstone Lakes Golf Club

Peterstone Lakes is a stunning, 18-hole golf course set in acres of peaceful Welsh countryside just outside Cardiff. The par-72 course was designed by Bob Sandow and is a fair but challenging round. Watch out for its many water hazards – there are some particularly testing holes on the back nine where ditches and lakes will punish a wayward tee shot.

St. Mary’s Hotel & Country Club

The Championship golf course at St Mary’s measures 5291 yards and is a par-69 – but don’t let the length put you off. This maturing track incorporates sloping banks, tree-bordered holes and water hazards to produce a challenging round. Not to mention breathtaking Vale of Glamorgan vistas.
