The Montgomerie pays tribute to the traditions of the game and sets a challenge like no other. Designed by Colin Montgomerie with numerous cavernous bunkers to test even the seasoned golfer, the course journeys across 7,300 yards of impeccable greens and vast fairways. The O’Meara
“One of the greatest finishing stretches in all of Irish golf” – Mark O’Meara
Beware the beauty of this classic parkland course – there are still plenty of challenges here! Designed by 1998 Open Champion and Masters Champion Mark O’Meara, the course meanders through ancient woodlands and skirts the banks of the River Rye. Played by over 30,000 golfers every season, the 18th hole offers the iconic backdrop of Carton’s historic Palladian Manor House, reflective lake and picturesque Boat House – said to have been custom built for Queen Victoria. Designed to challenge golfers of all abilities while bringing the beauty and history of the Carton Estate to the fore.
